Sales Pipeline Automation

A chat-based design assistant that helps a furniture store guide customers through a full design consultation, before a staff member ever gets involved– no human required until the client’s ready to buy.

| Project Details:

This project gives furniture retailers a chatbot that does more than answer basic questions. When a customer wants to start a new project, the bot asks them a series of simple questions — about who they are, what kind of space they’re working with, what style they like, their budget, and any challenges they’re facing, like a small room or not enough storage. Once submitted, the bot doesn’t just say, “thanks, someone will reach out.” It creates a picture of what the finished space could look like, so the customer has something real to look at right away.

| The Problem:

Furniture stores lose momentum in the gap between “I’m interested” and “someone gets back to me.” A customer fills out an inquiry, then waits — sometimes days — for a designer to review their needs and put together a proposal. By the time that follow-up arrives, interest has often cooled, and the store has spent staff hours on a lead that may not convert.

There’s a second problem underneath the first: even when a customer is ready to buy, they’re often guessing. Without a visual, it’s hard to tell whether a piece will actually fit the space — or match the theme of the room it’s going into. That uncertainty leads to hesitation, returns, or purchases the customer isn’t fully confident in.

| What this means for you:

  1. Instead of a plain contact form that leaves customers waiting, they get something that feels like sitting down with a real designer — and they get it right away, before ever speaking to a person. Here’s what happens during that conversation:
  2. The bot asks the customer simple questions about themselves, their space, their style, their budget, and any problems they’re trying to solve — so nothing important gets missed.
  3. It then puts together a short, easy-to-read summary of everything the customer shared.
  4. From there, it builds an actual design idea based on their answers, not just a form that goes into a pile.
  5. Finally, it shows the customer a picture of what their space could look like, so they can see it for themselves before deciding to buy anything.

| Bottom line:

This chatbot solves two problems at once. It gets rid of the long wait between a customer showing interest and hearing back from someone, and it takes the guesswork out of buying furniture by letting customers see what a piece will actually look like in their space. That means happier, more confident customers, and a head start for your team on every person who reaches out.
